I'm Guido Davies
Founder, Investor & Startup Advisor focused on technology, AI and cross-border models between Latin America and the United States.
I operate at the intersection between technology, capital and structural design of companies. I design systems, invest in early-stage startups and accompany founders looking to build global companies from day one.
My beginnings
I started building long before I knew it was called entrepreneurship.
At the age of 6, I was already experimenting with supply, distribution and margin.
What started with selling plants without permission turned into an obsession with understanding how to scale systems.
Over time I understood that what interested me most was not to sell something, but to design structures that could grow.
A few years later I discovered my first computer.
Technology ceased to be a curiosity and became my natural building environment. That journey continues to this day.
2004
At the age of 14 I discovered programming and web design in an Internet cafe.
I taught myself and launched digital projects focused on SEO, monetization and growth.
One of them, QueFla.com, surpassed 6 million page views and 1.5 million users.
That's when I understood that I could build scalable digital assets from a computer.
2004
2009
Then I founded DIXIT, where I went from programming to system design.
We build “Travel Tracking”The company's WebApp integrated operation, security and real-time communication for mass travel.
That's when I started working on architecture, scalability and building a product with real impact.
2013
We create CheckPass
We develop an infrastructure based on RFID for security and monitoring in mass travel.
The solution was implemented in more than 200 customers in the Americas and Europe, managing 160,000 passengers annual sales of more than one million dollars.
Operated by a distributed team of more than 60 full-time and remote professionals.
2013
2016
With VROCUS we worked on another challenge: how to sell experiences before they happen. We developed a solution based on virtual reality, filming more than 2.600 hours in 16K and creating a proprietary app together with hardware manufactured and imported by us.
The App impacted more than 85 agencies and 10.000 vendors, combining hardware, software and go-to-market execution in a single product.
2019
We detected a structural friction in the tourism sector: agencies were still charging for trips with physical checkbooks, manual processes and absurd settlement times.
It was not a commercial problem. It was an infrastructure problem.
Thus was born Enterpax, a platform that digitized the management of payments and collections in real time for travel agencies.
We process more than $4 billion, operating with 250,000 users monthly assets.
We reduce commissions up to 70% and the collection time went from 10 days to 4 hours.
It was my first deep exposure to payment systems, fintech infrastructure and high volume transaction architecture.

2022
In 2022 I founded Hostyn in Orlando, one of the most competitive short-term rental markets in the United States.
The company integrates data-driven real estate, profitability optimization and property management systems supported by marketing automation and predictive analytics.
In the first five months we reached $300,000 in sales.
During 2023 the structure involved more than 120 people between technology, operation and partners. We surpassed US$1 million in bookings revenue, sold more than $3.2 million in properties and we achieved an average annual occupancy rate of 89,5%, operating in more than 18 distribution channels.
Hostyn was a real-life exercise in cross-border execution, market positioning in the US and data-driven decision making.

In parallel, I participate as a mentor in networks such as 500 Global, Emprelatam y ADPList. I accompany founders in product defensibility, startup architecture, cap table design and venture readiness, as well as AI integration and U.S. market entry strategies.
I have worked with startups in more than 12 countries, reviewing dozens of pitch decks and early-stage models.

Transforming the amusement park travel experience
Onpark addresses a specific problem: the operational complexity of planning trips to high-demand theme parks. The solution integrates technology, data and artificial intelligence to transform a chaotic experience into an optimized and predictable system.
I currently participate as an advisor, working on product strategy and growth architecture.
Investment and Startup Architecture
Today I channel this experience into Grays VC, where I invest and work closely with early stage founders.
My focus today is on three things: early-stage investing, startup architecture, and cross-border expansion between Latin America y United States, especially in AI-native products.
More than capital, I am interested in how the company is designed from the beginning: product, structure, defensibility and real capacity to scale globally.
Today
If you are building something and want to share an idea, talk about a project or just have a coffee, I am open to the conversation.
